ABOUT RPS:

RPS Group of Institutions was established in 2008 as RPS College of Engineering & Technology offering B.Tech. courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Communication Engineering. In 2010 RPS Institute of Management offering MBA, BBA & BCA degree was established. In 2011, both the institutes were merged and renamed as RPS Group of Institutions (Engineering & Management). In 2011, B.Tech. progamme in Civil Engineering was started. From 2012 onwards, the institute is starting M.Tech. programme in Computer Science & Engineering and Polytechnic Diploma (Engineering) programmes in Mechanical & Civil Engineering.

The RPSGOI has highly qualified, dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff who along with state of the art laboratories are committed to develop the students as capable engineers and managers ready to serve as resource persons anywhere in India and abroad.

DETAILS B.TECH CSE:

• Course Duration : 4 year ( 8 Semester)
• Session Starts: August every Year
• Eligibility: Should be pass in 10+2 examination with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from recognized Board/University with 45% in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
  A) Chemistry
  B) Bio-Technology
  C) Computer Science
  D) Biology
• Lateral Entry to 2nd Year of B.Tech :
  Eligibility:Should have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology course of 3 years duration or more from Haryana Board of Technical Education, or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in the aggregate of all the semesters. OR candidate must have passed B.Sc (Graduate) with Mathematics as compulsory subject and with a minimum of 50% marks. 

 

B.Tech.- ECE

Computing Facility:

The institute is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with more than 250 high quality Dual Core 2.70 GHz machines from HCL. Printers and scanners are provided in each and every lab and each computer is connected with high speed dedicated 2 mbps 1:1 bandwidth. All computer labs are connected with 24 Hrs uninterrupted power supply.

Internet Connectivity:

All computers are connected with dedicated 2 mbps 1:1 bandwidth internet. The internet connectivity with campus wide area networking enables access from anywhere.  Internet connectivity is extended to Hostel with Wi-Fi Connectivity.

Campus Wide Network:

The campus wide area network is spread over all the institutions connecting all the service points. The whole campus is provided with the facility of Wi-Fi Connectivity including Hostels, Lawns, Canteen and Central Library.

Network Lab:

Network Lab is equipped with the advanced hardware and tools for the networking. The lab provides the facility to learn latest networking techniques, topologies and maintaining the network. The lab equipped with latest Cisco Routers, various Switches, Networking Cables, Wired and Wireless LAN CarDS

Games & Sports

The students are encouraged to participate in various sports. They have made RPS proud with their achievements. The students are sponsored to various inter college sports/ cultural/ literary activities. Games facilities like Football & Volleyball are being regularly provided. A gymnasium with all modern facilities has been constructed which is equipped with imported machines and comprises of all indoor games such as Table Tennis, Badminton etc.

Hostels

The college has separate hostels for Boys and Girls which are well equipped with all the modern facilities like water coolers, geysers, television, telephone, and air coolers for the students. The hostels fully equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity for Internet.

Power Backup

 Apart from 3 phase commercial power supply from Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd, RPSGOI have two generator sets of 82.5 KVA and 32KVA capacity to ensure uninterrupted power supply round the clock.

LIBRARY:

A well-stocked Library has been established in the heart of college campus for the benefits of students and staff. The state-of-the-art Central Library is housed in a three-storey building. Library remains open on all working days from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Books are issued / returned from 9 AM to 3 PM.

The Library is fully automated. We use LIBSYS software providing Facilities.

Canteen

The Canteen at RPSGOI is highly hygienic and it caters to the needs of healthy and nutritious eatables. Junk foods are a big no in the canteen. The canteen opens from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The routine health check up of the cook and the workers is carried at regular interval three months. Fresh fruits and juices are also available in the canteen.
